He2 Plus Washer Door Locked

Check all the green wires ground harnesses system are notbroken or wires detached.

He2 plus washer door locked.

Kenmore he2 frontload washer. Then pull the door open. To manually unlock and open the door remove the bottom front service panel reach up into the cabinet and pull down on the manual release tab on the bottom of the door lock switch assembly. Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.

Remove the lower toe panel by removing the screws along the bottom edge. Ok check the door switch lock unit running the drain cycle. Start cycle causes door to lock but then nothing more. This may reset the door lock it will release the door too.

Remove the bottom front service panel as shown in the first image below. Disconnect the power cord from the power source. If the door lock receiver is clear check the wire harness connections between the door lock switch assembly and the main electronic control board. You can manually unlock the washer door by following these steps.

Carefully reach up the inside of the front panel and pull the release tab on the bottom of the door lock assembly. Check for foreign objects in the door lock receiver. Plug in washer or reconnect power. If door is locked drain the unit.

Remove the lower front panel from the front of the washer by removing the 3 screws in the bottom of it. Check the two ground switches are pressed correctly by the toe and rear panels. Reach up behind the front panel and pull down on a pull ring that is attached to the bottom of the door lock mechanism to manually unlock the door.
